Nightly Event Rules

1. No use of cell phones during a question round!!! - HUGE!

2. No screaming out answers.

3. No collaborating with other teams.

4. Once answer sheet is handed in - NO Changes.

5. Teams may have up to 7 people to earn World Series Points and win nightly prizes. (NEW RULE):Team may play with as many players as they wish on any given night, however, if the team count is more than 7, they ARE NOT ELIGIBLE that evening to win nightly prizes and/ or World Series Points.  

6. Host has final decision and say in all circumstances.

To Qualify for Playoffs and World Series:

1. All team members must register emails.

2. Venue employees may play on a team.

3. Teams must designate a home venue.

4. Team name must remain the same throughout the season.

5. Teams can sub members but never go over 7 for a night.

6. Teams can compete at multiple venues but World Series Points are only calculated for that venue (i.e. a team can not earn points from one venue and carry them over to another venue.)

7. To participate in playoffs or World Series, individual players must have competed in at least 4 nightly events in that season - Players may play on            different teams in season but must declare a playoff team and stay with them for playoffs and World Series.

8. The HOUSE CHAMPION at every venue will receive a playoff bye and is invited directly into World Series. The number of teams at each venue that receive playoff invites will depend on the average number of teams per night at the particular venue (i.e. the more average teams per night the more teams will receive a playoff invite).

9. Playoffs will be held on weekend and date/time/location will be posted at least a month in advance.

10. Teams must reply and confirm playoff invite within 5 days of event.

11. Roughly the top 2/3 of teams at playoffs will get a World Series invite.

12. Playoff winners must confirm World Series attendance at the time of the invite (so...at the playoffs I need to know).

13. All rankings are based on number of World Series Points.

14. Pour House Trivia Hosts (not including substitutes) may play in nightly events but may not participate in World Series of Trivia.

How to Earn Pour House Points:

1. Play in a nightly event: 10 points

2. Win a nightly event: +10 points

3. 2nd in nightly event: +7 points

4. 3rd in a nightly event: +4 points

5. Nightly event with more than 15 teams: +3 points to 4th and 5th.

6. Nightly event with more than 20 teams: +3 to 6th place.
